Maharashtra PV is at the top of the sale in June QTR; Overall section 10-Lakh icon cross

 

According to the data shared by the industry organization Siyam, about 1 lakh passenger vehicles have been sold in the country during April to June this year. During the April-June period, 1.5 lakh units were sold in the country and the Western Zone sold 21.5 lakh units.

In the June quarter, Maharashtra recorded the highest passenger vehicle sales with 1.19 lakh units. Subsequently, according to data from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Haryana, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAMs).

In the two-wheeler department, 46.75 lakh units were sold in the country during the April-June this year.

Western states led the sale with 14.19 lakh units, Siam said.


Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest two -wheeler sales with 8.18 lakh units. After that there were Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. In the commercial vehicle department, Maharashtra led the space in the June quarter with the sale of 32,000 units. Overall, 1.23 lakh units were sold in the country during this period.

During the review period, the total sales of 1.65 lakh units were seen in the three -wheeler section.

In Uttar Pradesh, the highest number of sales were recorded with 5,3 units, followed by Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Telangana.
